A COREGAMERS VISUAL BLOG
Dear Kellee,
I have just finished playing Flower and I would like to say that the game has exceeded all the expectations I created for the last year or so, ever since our interview. Quite often did I wonder how those abstract concepts would translate into an interactive experience. The more I think of it, the more it feels like I just had a vivid dream.
Players like me live their entire lives waiting for games like this to come out and... you did it. I'm at a loss for words. I saw colors I never knew existed; I was surrounded by a beauty I didn’t think possible inside a virtual environment; every now and then… I felt genuinely moved.
Also, it feels great to finally understand the reason for the visual aid “Flow-Flower” on the initial presentation trailer.
Thank you Kellee. Extend my thanks to Jenova Chen and to all the brilliant team members from thatgamecompany. This your audiovisual and interactive poem has brought me and, I believe, so many others the joy and strength to keep believing in the videogame medium.
Warmest regards,
Bruno de Figueiredo @ CoreGamers
